Finance Manager – Arkad
•Develops, modifies, and reviews accounting systems.
•Establishes and maintains departmental policies and procedures working closely with upper management. Ensures compliance with the Company’s business ethics policy and all human resources policies. Offers training in these policies as needed.
•Analyses figures/statistics to make projections and recommendations. Prepares special or recurring reports for upper management.
•Ensures accurate and timely monthly/quarterly accounts closing and generation of associated reports.
•Keeps aware of the current business climate and client requirements. Understands the financial impact various projects may or will have upon the Company.
•May complete special assignments for the Operations Manager. Participates in proposal efforts.
•Establishes budgets, schedules, and plans for the finance department. May establish and monitor budgets for other departments or units of the Company. May serve as financial technical consultant.
•Reviews work produced by those assigned to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Interviews, selects, and manages personnel. Makes staffing assignments and reassignments as Company and project needs dictate. Monitors staffing requirements and expenditures within budget constraints.
•Conducts performance evaluations, takes corrective action as necessary, recommends promotions and salary actions, offers training and development for the assigned personnel.
•Completes other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
