Establish and Lead the Sales Operation across KSA in one of the most reputable FMCG food companies in KSA. Develop the overall customer strategy within the kingdom to establish alignment and full collaboration with the customer

Client Details

Our client is leading food manufacturing and distribution business. Established in 1941 in Jeddah. The business is comprises of a leading importing, distribution and meat manufacturing companies, marketing its own brands plus a select portfolio of international brands


  • Assist in Startup and Building a new Van Operation across all KSA cities of 50 salesman on the road
  • Assist in routing journey plans for the whole team
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
  • Resolve customer’s trade issues, complaints and operational matters
  • Responsible for the business development of all the marketing groups in Van sales channel
  • Providing periodical reports to the SD on the sales performance to enable informed decision making and strategic overview
  • Must work and collaborate with all relevant internal departments in order to develop the channel’s programs and increase sales.
  • Ensure achieving planned sales for the entire channel and by customer
  • Improving customer consumption overall , and categories growth for the established brand along with the new brands
  • Developing department policies for achieving all company goals related to the responsibilities of his channel
  • Achieving operational excellence and cost optimisation across the sales and distribution business
  • Updating the customers on the system ( Moving customers from Van to Pre – sales)
  • Conducting 3 months review with High profile clients.
  • Setting KPIs for performance Appraisal
  • Communicate organisation’s OGSM to staff regularly
  • Setting development plans for team & execute them
  • Manage, investigate and review accidents/incidents
  • Align team’s effort with company’s projects
  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the Van sales operation & ambitious growth plans in line with the company strategy.
  • Prepare annual sales forecast for the entire channel & by customer a long with the monthly phasing
  • Profile

  • Relevant traditional trade experience of at least 5-6 years with multinational consumer goods brand/s
  • Should have ability to build and lead a team of business channel partners and a sales organization, so as to be able to achieve the set targets.
  • Should possess good market knowledge in the fast moving consumer good and its trends, competitor’s activities and happenings in the trade.
  • Should be a go getter.
  • Have thorough knowledge about sales & marketing strategies.
  • Be able to maneuver and develop business procedures.
  • Excellent communication and intrapersonal skills in both Arabic and English
  • Strong knowledge of food distribution strategies and methodologies.
  • Sound ability to develop new business, add new products/vendors/principals and/or develop into new geographies/channels
